THEY ARE HERE!

WATCH YOUR STEP-

TAKE A CLOSER LOOK!

The trails may not be so muddy BUT please stay on them as the native spring wildflowers are showing their shapes & colors nearby!

There is quite a show in Golden Hill Town Forest as of mid-late April, and should continue into May. In May you’ll start to see other flowers & the bushes leafing out with buds of their own.

We have a display in the Lee post office in the glass case which has photos of many of the flowers you should see. And there are some books which can help you explore with children. You can find information at the Lee Library. Remember, children are closer to the level of these flowers, so may be first to spot them!

The Lee Library has a display with books about native plants, wildflowers and gardening. Time to get excited and outside to play in your yard or containers.

Be prepared with sturdy shoes, long pants & shirts & tick repellent. Binoculars or a magnifying glass may help you look closer at the flowers & spot some birds too.
